What do I need to get started?

Do I need to download an app?
No. AssetGuard runs in your web browser, so it works on any phone, tablet, or computer without an app-store download. You get your own login and see your assets on a live map.
What's the difference between the hardware cost and the monthly plan?
The tracker unit and installation are one-off costs — you own the hardware. The monthly plan covers the ongoing tracking service: connectivity, the live map, alerts, trip history, and your customer portal login.
Will GPS tracking stop my asset being stolen?
No tracking system can physically prevent theft, and we won't pretend otherwise. What AssetGuard gives you is fast awareness — an alert when something moves that shouldn't — plus a live location and movement history that can help Police recover it.
What is Guardian?
Guardian is AssetGuard's after-hours protection mode, included on selected plans. You set the hours when your asset should stay put — overnight, weekends, whenever — and if it moves during those hours you get an alert straight away. Genuine movement can be approved with one click.
Where does tracking work?
Trackers report over the cellular network, so tracking works wherever there's mobile coverage. If your asset passes through a coverage blackspot, the tracker stores its position history and uploads it once coverage returns.
